Traversing Tathras Stunning Headland: A Walking Adventure

Short, but oh-so sweet, the Tathra Headland Walk may only cover 300 meters, but it packs a punch with some of the Sapphire Coast's most iconic features.

Picture-perfect views of the Pacific Ocean await you, especially during the annual whale migration from Antarctica along the New South Wales coastline. The best times for spotting these majestic creatures are from August to November when you might also catch a glimpse of playful dolphins and flocks of seabirds.

This all-abilities pathway connects the Tathra Headland to the historic Tathra Wharf, guiding you along boardwalks, walking paths, and an elevated viewing platform made from reclaimed wharf timbers. It's a walk that's as easy on the eyes as it is on the feet.
