A Birds Eye View: The Magnificent Scenery of the Scenic Skyway #tourism...

Soar between cliff tops and take in the breathtaking views of World Heritage landscapes on the Scenic Skyway. This 720-meter journey offers the best vantage points of Katoomba Falls, the Three Sisters, Mt Solitary, and Jamison Valley.

Suspended 270 meters above ancient ravines, you'll be amazed by the stunning views of the rainforest canopy beneath your feet through the electro-glass cabin floor. If you're not feeling too daring, don't worry - there's seating and solid flooring available too.

The Scenic Skyway, which first opened in 1958, was Australia's inaugural cable car. The current Swiss-made cabin, introduced in 2017, can accommodate 84 passengers every 10 minutes, making it the largest aerial cable car in the Southern Hemisphere.

Once the Skyway docks on the east side of the Jamison Valley, you can hop off and explore Katoomba Cascades, Reids Plateau, and even take a stroll to Echo Point.
